The Accidental Prime Minister Movie, Biopic based on the life of  Dr.Manmohan Singh, The Indian National Congress party has objected to Anupam Kher starrer  ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’, whose trailer was released on Thursday. The film is based on the controversial book of former PMO consultant Sanjay Baru, which is going to be released on January 11. In a letter to the makers of the films, the Congress party’s Maharashtra Youth Branch objected to ‘false presentation of facts’ and demanded special screening of the film The Accidental Prime Minister Movie to them once.

Youth Wing said that if some scenes were found to be factually incorrect, it would have to be removed or else they would not allow the film to be displayed anywhere in the country. Apart from this, even if their demands are not met, they also go to court threatened.

Youth Congress President Satyajit Tambe Patil said, “Our Maharashtra unit has asked the filmmakers to keep a special screening for the party before the film is released. If they do not conduct screening, then we the court will stand.

In the film, Anupam Kher has played the role of former PM Manmohan Singh. Akshay Khanna has been seen in Sanjay Baru’s role. Journalist Sanjay Baru was the Media Adviser to the then Prime Minister between 2004 and 2008.

Actress Susan Bernat will play Sonia Gandhi in the film. The trailer of the movie has shown that the Gandhi family has interfered in the Manmohan Singh government. It also showed the decisions taken by Manmohan Singh It has also been shown that how difficult it has been to take those decisions.

The film directed by Vijay Ratnakar Gutte. National award-winning filmmaker Hansal Mehta has written the screenplay of the film. Sunil Bohra produced the film.
